The Ingraham boys Water Polo team had a great showing at their first appearance at State, November 13-16, 2019. They won a play-in game on Wednesday night to earn a place in the championship tournament. After losing a tough game to 3rd ranked Roosevelt on Thursday, the Rams went on to easily defeat Bellevue on Friday afternoon, securing their spot in Division 1 for the 2020 season and setting up a competitive final day of play. After a close loss to Newport, Ingraham edged out Mercer Island to take 5th. Congratulations Rams!
2019 team at State
It is not too late to join the team!
We are very excited for the upcoming season! Water polo is the most exciting sport you may never have heard of! Our players range from water polo novices to players with more than five years experience. No water polo experience needed. All are welcome; you just need to be able to swim. We'll teach you the rest.
New this year, Ingraham is a Division 1 water polo team! This allows us more opportunities to play against the best high school teams in the state and guarantees us a spot in the state tournament. We will have practice or a game four days each week. This will consist of some highly competitive division games as well as games targeted at the guys who are less experienced in the sport. All players will be supported by practices (in the water and dry land) to encourage a strong team environment.
