Fundraising for your Team

TEAM FUNDRAISING

BEFORE your team starts a fundraiser, the Fundraising Campaign Form (linked on this page) must to be completed and sent to Traci Huffer, the Athletic Director, for approval

It is appropriate for a parent volunteer to complete the bulk of the form (and run the fundraiser) but the team coach must review the information and indicate his/her agreement to the team fundraiser.

Once completed, the form can be sent electronically to Traci Huffer, IHS Athletic Director, thuffer@seattleschools.org; or you can drop it off at Ingraham.

Traci will look through it as soon as possible and let you know her approval, or any questions/concerns she may have about the fundraiser.  Please allow at least a week for her to review the document, BEFORE you begin your fundraiser.

To request a direct appeal online fundraiser for your team/sport by contacting the current IABC webmaster, who will work with you to create the fundraising form. Turn-around for registration creation is 5-7 business days. The cost is 3% + $1/transaction. Funds received by IABC Treasurer will then be deposited to the team's IABC account.

Fundraising Ideas used previously by various teams:

  • Car Washes
  • Sport Clinics or Camps (for younger athletes)
  • Sales of Merchandise (sweatshirts, seat cushions, scarves, cookie dough, and so on)
  • 1 Green Planet Recycling events
  • Direct Appeals - we can receive funds directly through this website, need to request assistance from IABC to help set up.
  • Hit-A-Thon (athletes gather pledges based on how far they hit the baseball; could be adopted for "how many laps ran" etc)
